This active trek to the famous base camp of the Annapurna mountain, is one of the most diverse of the Himalaya. From the startpoint on you can admire the highest eightthousanders of the Annapurna range: Annapurna South and Macchapuchare reflect in Phewa-Lake in Pokhara.
You climb and descend through leaf and bamboo forests, passing through picturesque villages and terraced rice fields to end up surrounde by some of the highest peaks of the Himalaya. On the way you get in touch by locals of different ethnical groups.
ITINERARY ANNAPURNA BASE CAMP TREK
DAY 1: Arrival in Kathmandu.
DAY 2: By tourist bus to Pokhara.
DAY 3: By car to Najapul (1070m / 3510ft) - trek to Banthanti (2210m/ 7250ft) or Ulleri (1960m/ 6430ft).
DAY 4: Trek to Ghorepani (2860m/ 9383ft)
DAY 5: Morning walk to Poon Hill (3200m/ 10,498ft) – trek to Tadapani (2630m/ 8628ft).
DAY 6: Trek to Chomrong (2210m/ 7250ft).
DAY 7: Trek to Bamboo (2310m/ 7578ft).
DAY 8: Trek to Deurali (3230m/ 10,597ft).
DAY 9: Trek to Machapuchare Base Camp (3700m/ 12,139ft) & Annapurna Base Camp (4130m/ 13,549ft).
DAY 10: Trek to Bamboo (2310m/ 7578ft).
DAY 11: Trek to Jhinu Danda (1780m/ 5839ft)
DAY 12: Trek to Tolka (1700m/ 5577ft) or Pothana (1890m/ 6200ft).
DAY 13: Trek to Phedi & by car to Pokhara.
DAY 14: By tourist bus to Kathmandu.
DAY 15: Departure.

Please keep in mind that a trek in the Himalayan Mountains requires a flexible and emphatic mind. During your trek you are lacking some of the basic luxuries like electricity and hot showers. Due to weather conditions, health issues, fitness of group members or sudden natural disasters (like landslides, snow storms, earth quakes, flooding...) we may have to change your itinerary. We try to do our best to follow the outlined itinerary of your booked trek, but your safety and well-being stays our primary concern. In case the trek an amendment of your trek is necessary, it is our group leader or head guide who takes this final decision.
You can fill in your remaining days in Nepal with a wide range of activities. Discover some days the jungle in one of the nationals parks in the South of Nepal, go enjoying the shores of Phewa lake in Pokhara or visit the cultural sites in Kathmandu Valley.
