The Arun Valley is an unspoiled and undiscovered trekking region in Nepal. Situated between Sagarmatha (Mt. Everest) and the Makalu-Barun National Parks, the valley offers a magnificent mountain landscape with views of the Everest, Makalu, Baruntse, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, etc.
The area also has a rich fauna with more than 650 different bird species and 800 butterfly species, and it is the habitat of the rare red panda. During the trek, you walk along orchids and swirling prayer flags while on your way to the picturesque Sherpa villages.

Day 3: Trek to Goethe Bazaar (685 m/ 2247 ft)
Day 4: Trek to Salpa Phedi (1520 m/ 4986 ft)
Day 5: Trek to Guranse (Chayaksila) (3000 m/ 9842 ft)
Day 6: Trek to Sanam (2840 m/ 9317 ft )

Please keep in mind that a trek in the Himalayan Mountains requires a flexible and emphatic mind. During your trek you are lacking some of the basic luxuries like electricity and hot showers. Due to weather conditions, health issues, fitness of group members or sudden natural disasters (like landslides, snow storms, earth quakes, flooding...) we may have to change your itinerary. We try to do our best to follow the outlined itinerary of your booked trek, but your safety and well-being stays our primary concern. In case the trek an amendment of your trek is necessary, it is our group leader or head guide who takes this final decision.
You can fill in your remaining days in Nepal with a wide range of activities. Discover some days the jungle in one of the nationals parks in the South of Nepal, go enjoying the shores of Phewa lake in Pokhara or visit the cultural sites in Kathmandu Valley.
