This trek combines walking to the base camp of the highest mountain in the world with the view of the astonishing blue lakes of Gokyo. Everyday, you'll see mythical peaks: Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Cho Oyu and Makalu. On the way you will get to know the traditional culture of the Sherpas and visit some ancient Buddhist monasteries like in Tengboche.
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu.
Day 2: Flight to Lukla – trek to Phakding (2652m).
Day 3: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3420m).
Day 4: Acclimatisation in Namche Bazaar.
Day 5: Trek to Phortse Thanga (3600m).
Day 6: Trek to Machhermo (4410m)
Day 7: Trek to Gokyo (4750m)
Day 8: Gokyo. Acclimatisation day.
Day 9: Trek to Phortse (3840m)
Day 10: Trek to Pheriche (4250m)
Day 11: Trek to Lobuché (4920m)
Day 12: Trek to Gorak Shpe (5100m), visit of Kalapathar (5545m).
Day 13: Trek to Everest Base Camp (5450m) & Lobuché (4920m).
Day 14: Trek to Dingboche (4360m).
Day 15: Trek to Tengboche (3860m).
Day 16: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m).
Day 17: Trek to Lukla (2850m).
Day 18: Flight to Kathmandu.
Day 19: Free day in Kathmandu.
Day 20: Departure.
Acclimatisation days are vital and we advise strongly to let them in the itinerary.
In case of bad weather it is possible that you can not fly from or to Lukla. Make sure to have some spare days at the end of your stay in Nepal.

Please keep in mind that a trek in the Himalayan Mountains requires a flexible and emphatic mind. During your trek you are lacking some of the basic luxuries like electricity and hot showers. Due to weather conditions, health issues, fitness of group members or sudden natural disasters (like landslides, snow storms, earth quakes, flooding...) we may have to change your itinerary. You can fill in your remaining days in Nepal with a wide range of activities. Discover some days the jungle in one of the nationals parks in the South of Nepal, go enjoying the shores of Phewa lake in Pokhara or visit the cultural sites in Kathmandu Valley.
