The villages of Naar and Phu receive little rain throughout the year as they are lying in the rain-shadow of the Annapurna Circuit. Phu lies just a few kilometres from the Tibetan border and is a medieval stonewalled village that sits on a rock overlooked by Tashi Gompa. Naar lies in the south of Phu behind the popular Pisang Peak (6091m).

Please keep in mind that a trek in the Himalayan Mountains requires a flexible and emphatic mind. During your trek you are lacking some of the basic luxuries like electricity and hot showers. Due to weather conditions, health issues, fitness of group members or sudden natural disasters (like landslides, snow storms, earth quakes, flooding...) we may have to change your itinerary. We try to do our best to follow the outlined itinerary of your booked trek, but your safety and well-being stays our primary concern. In case an amendment of your trek is necessary, it is our group leader or head guide who takes this final decision.
You can fill in your remaining days in Nepal with a wide range of activities. Discover some days the jungle in one of the nationals parks in the South of Nepal, go enjoying the shores of Phewa lake in Pokhara or visit the cultural sites in Kathmandu Valley.
