This trek is a beautiful introduction to the splendid mountains of Nepal. It is a astonishing trekking that takes you through ancient rhododendron forests, until you reach the mountains as the Annapurna South, the Hiunchuli, the Machapuchhre, the Ganga Purna, the Annapurna I and off course the Mardi Himal.
Located east of Annapurna Base Camp, the Mardi Himal trekking is a hidden gem, as few people trek to the Mardi Himal Base Camp. This Base Camp is beautifully located at the base of the Mardi Himal and the stunning, impressive Machapuchhre.
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu. Transfer from airport to hotel.
Day 2: Drive by bus to Pokhara. Arrival in the late afternoon.
Day 3: Privat transport to the starting point Kande, trek to Australian Camp.
Day 4: Trek from Australian Camp to Forest Camp (2600 m/8430ft) 5 hrs.
Day 5: Trek from Forest Camp to Low Camp (2990m/9809ft), 4 hrs.
Day 6: Trek to High Camp (3590m/11,778ft).
Day 7: Rest day in High Camp, walk to the Upper View Point and back to High Camp
Day 8: Trek to Siding.
Day 9: Trek from Siding to Lwang.
Day 10: Privat transport from Lwang to Pokhara, rest of the day in Pokhara
Day 11: Drive by bus from Pokhara to Kathmandu.
Day 12: Transfer to the airport for departure.
