Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu. Pick up and drop off at the hotel. Meeting the guide and short briefing.
Day 2: Flight to Lukla and short trek via Cheplung to Phakding (2652m). (2h30)
Day 3: Trek to Namche Bazaar, the Sherpa-capital (3440m), you pass Benkar and Monjo.(5h30)
Day 4: Acclimatisation day in Namche Bazaar. Walk in the environment.
Day 5: Trek to Tengboche (3860m) with its famous bouddhistic monastary. (4h)
Day 6: Acclimatisation day in Tengboche.
Day 7: Trek to Pheriche/Dingboche (4360m), you pass through Pangboche and Orsho. (3,5h)
Day 8: Trek to Chhukung (4730m) (3h)
Day 9: Acclimatisation day in Chhukung.
Day 10: Trek to Lobuché (4920m) crossing the Kongma La Pass (5535m). (9h)
Day 11: Trek to Gorak Shep (5160m) (2h30), after that you walk to Everest Base Camp and back (5340m) (6h).
Day 12: Trek to Kala Pattar (5545m) and then to Lobuche (4920m). (5h)
Day 13: Trek to Dzonglha (4830m) (3h)
Day 14: Trek crossing the Cho La Pass (5420m) to Gokyo (4750m) (8h)
Day 15: Rest day in Gokyo
Day 16: Trek via Renjo La Pass (5345m) to Lungden (4350m)/Marulung (4200m) (8h)
Day 17: Trek to Thame (4000m) (3h)
Day 18: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m).
Day 19: Trek via Monjo and Benkar to Phakding (2652m) (5,5h)
Day 20: Trek to Lukla (2850m) via Cheplung. Night in Lukla.
Day 21: Flight to Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel. Rest of the day off.
Day 22: Spare day. Kathmandu.
Day 23: Transfer to airport for international flight.
This trek can be walked in the opposite direction; variations on the itinerary are possible.
In event of flight cancellation or delay in/out Lukla: Even in the main trekkings seasons, it is likely that your flight to or from LukIa is delayed.
That`s why we advise you to add minimum one or two extra days at the end of your trek as back up. If the flights go as planned, you can use these days to explore Kathmandu Valley or extend your visit to Chitwan National Park (min. 2 Nights) or Pokhara (min. 2 Nights).
If your flight get cancelled, we will reschedule your flight for the next day, this is however subject to availability. If you travel in group, it`s possible to hire a helicopter to fly in/out to Lukla to start/end the trek as per planned date; the cost of a helicopter flight is at your own expenses. A helicopter flight will cost minimum of USD 350 per person depending on the group size.

Combine with: Lukla Walk-In, if you have enough time this is great to do a slow acclimatization.

Please keep in mind that a trek in the Himalayan Mountains requires a flexible and emphatic mind. During your trek you are lacking some of the basic luxuries like electricity and hot showers. Due to weather conditions, health issues, fitness of group members or sudden natural disasters (like landslides, snow storms, earth quakes, flooding...) we may have to change your itinerary. We try to do our best to follow the outlined itinerary of your booked trek, but your safety and well-being stays our primary concern. In case the trek an amendment of your trek is necessary, it is our group leader or head guide who takes this final decision.

You can fill in your remaining days in Nepal with a wide range of activities. Discover some days the jungle in one of the nationals parks in the South of Nepal, go enjoying the shores of Phewa lake in Pokhara or visit the cultural sites in Kathmandu Valley.
